Omega’s reading program is customized for children of all ages, based on the results of their initial Woodcock Johnson III assessment, learning style assessment, reading course schedule, study habits, and family goals. The Woodcock Johnson III academic assessment is used by educators and school systems. Omega uses this premiere assessment to pinpoint skill gaps within reading, creating a road map for your tutor.
Omega tutors help your student improve the following basic reading skills: sight words, reading fluency, phonics, vocabulary, spelling, writing composition, language arts and grammar. Proficiency of these skills lead to increased comprehension and success in all classes requiring reading.
Rather than relying on simple memorization, Omega tutors help their students develop the critical thinking skills needed for acquiring a deeper understanding of reading passages requiring inferring and the identification context clues. ALL school Reading subjects may be included in your Omega program including AP and Honors Classes.
Reciprocal communication through our e-Tutor software system exponentially increases your academic growth. Omega tutors send daily progress reports to your “Academic Team,” including parents and teachers at school.
